Students in Mrs. Steven's fifth grade class dress up for Career Day on January 31, 2001.

Michele Stevens is entering her eleventh year at Gibbsboro School.  She has both her Elementary School Teacher Certificate and her Nursery School Teacher Certificate.  In addition to working at Gibbsboro, Mrs. Stevens also worked at Saint Luke's Elementary School in Stratford, N.J. and West Deptford Middle School.  She graduated with highest honors from Glassboro State College (which is now Rowan University).

In her spare time, Mrs. Stevens likes to read, cross country ski, watercolor, and use pastels.  Her special vacation spot is Ocean City, New Jersey which she enjoys sharing with her family- (husband) George, (children) Danielle, Richard, Gary and Ryan.   Mrs. Stevens is incredibly proud of her children and believes them to be her "proudest accomplishments".

According to Mrs. Stevens, she always knew she wanted to teach.   In high school at Paul VI, she joined the Future Teachers of America Club and tutored students in her spare time.  Mrs. Stevens was recognized as Teacher of the Year 1999-2000.  She loves teaching and Science is one of her favorite subjects.
