Mrs. Costello's Art Home Page |
Gibbsboro is fortunate to have such an outstanding art teacher as Mrs. Costello. She is not only an accomplished artist but she teaches the children art and art history using a variety of media and methods. Art production and art history lessons also incorporate art criticism. Students learn to look at and critique famous and not-so-famous works of art.
One of the units some classes have done is Venetian masks. Two summers ago, Mrs. Costello was fortunate to have traveled to Venice, Italy. There, as in all her travels near and far, Mrs. Costello gains inspiration and ideas for projects to bring back to her students.
Mrs. Costello received her training at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Connecticut and has a B.S. in Art Education. Mrs. Costello is certified K-12 to teach art to all students.

Mrs. Costello was part of the Family Fun Night and is seen here with students working on an art project.
